The Background
At the behest of HaGaon HaGadol Rav Avrohom Gurwicz Shlit"a, Rabbi Yitzchok Dovid Keller has been tasked with the monumental historical founding of this brand-new Makom Torah.
For 18 years, Rav Yitzchok Dovid, a scion of the Telshe Chicago family, has poured his vision and energy into Mesivta D'Masmidim, his sought after Mesivta summer camp that empowers and invigorates bachurim to continue shtieging throughout the summer Bein Hazmanim and beyond.
Building on this incredible success, Rav Yitzchok Dovid is now bringing this Makom Torah to life on the 92-acre Mesivta D'Masmidim campus.
As the Nasi of this new Makom Torah, HaGaon HaGadol Rav Avrohom Gurwicz Shlit"a has taken full achrayus to direct and guide it.

The Vision

The Current Campus
A 92-acre scenic campus in the Catskills.
Our 92-acre scenic campus, home to Mesivta D'Masmidim, currently includes Batei Medrashim, dormitories, a gym, playing fields, and an Olympic-sized pool.
The Plan
Phase 1
- Establish a Kollel with 15 families
- Lay the infrastructure: water, sewer, roads, and site preparation
- Winterize the campus and build five two-story triplexes for family housing
- Landscape the residential area complete with a children's playground and gazebos
